Respondent Survey Experience

The respondent survey is designed to reduce fatigue and support completion over more than one session.

Respondent path

Front Page

The first page shows the study title, participant context, estimated time, due date, opening date, accepting-until date, late-submission rule, and administrator instructions. The respondent starts or resumes from this page.

Category-Based Completion

Questions are not shown all at once. The survey is completed by category:

  1. Leadership
  2. Processes and Infrastructure
  3. Communication and Collaboration
  4. Education
  5. Culture

Each category can be saved before moving forward. The review screen shows which categories are saved and how many questions are answered.

Save And Resume

Respondents can save a draft without submitting the full survey. Progress is saved section by section, so a respondent can return later from the same secure link.

Progress Feedback

The header shows both question progress and category progress. This makes it clear how much of the survey remains and which section is currently active.

Language Rules

The survey language is selected in this order:

  1. participant language override, when set
  2. study default language
  3. English fallback

If the administrator allows language changes and more than one language is enabled, the respondent sees a language selector. If not, the selector is hidden.

Submission

The respondent submits from the review page. After submission, the response is marked complete and used in scoring. Draft responses are saved but do not count as complete responses in the maturity results.
