Collaborative Facilitation Workbench

The Collaborative Facilitation Workbench helps a group produce an accountable group response. It is useful when people must answer a form together, brainstorm, compare alternatives, or authorize a shared position.

It is not simply a shared form. The workbench creates a facilitated process in which people can contribute at different times or together, explain their reasoning, examine differences, and explicitly support the final response.

What the workbench protects

  • People can contribute before seeing the views of others, reducing anchoring and status pressure.
  • Hosts guide the process but do not silently substitute their own answer for the group.
  • Guest and proxy-entered responses remain distinguishable from direct Arena participation.
  • Arguments, evidence, reservations, and objections remain attached to the decision record.
  • The final outcome can be prepared as a handoff brief for another Albarena method.

Three starting templates

Collective Form Response supports Likert, true/false, choice, scale, and text questions where the group must authorize one official response.

Brainstorm and Synthesize separates idea generation, clarification, clustering, and prioritization.

Group Option Selection develops alternatives, captures arguments and evidence, compares options, checks agreement, and records the final selection.
