Risk & Assumption Stress Test

This workbench helps a group ask a disciplined question: what must be true for this decision, initiative, or outcome to remain viable, and what will we do if reality differs?

It is not a generic risk list and it does not calculate an objective ā€œrisk truth.ā€ It keeps the underlying judgments visible: load-bearing importance, vulnerability, evidence strength, likelihood, impact, confidence, controls, participant differences, and residual-risk authority.

Evidence-to-action stress-test cycle

The method moves from testable claims to monitored, governed residual exposure.

What the workbench produces

  • a traceable register of testable assumptions;
  • cause–event–effect threats and opportunities;
  • inherent and residual exposure with visible component ratings;
  • individual assessments and material disagreement;
  • controls, shaping and hedging actions, signposts, thresholds, and responses;
  • explicit acceptance, conditions, reservations, and review timing;
  • a structured handoff for another Albarena method;
  • a comprehensive web report and branded PDF with machine-readable data.

Human governance

AI may draft candidate assumptions, evidence questions, risks, or actions. It must not validate evidence, assign accountable ownership, accept residual exposure, or claim that an absent risk means the plan is safe. Those are human decisions.
