Promote candidate strategies
Promotion is a deliberate human act. A candidate captures a stable snapshot of the chosen values plus the source configuration, relevant pair judgments, constraints, generation source, version, and promotion rationale.
Give the candidate a meaningful strategic nameānot āConfiguration 27āāand explain the mechanism that makes the combination coherent. Record advantages, limitations, risks, assumptions, evidence, and nearby configurations worth comparing. Selecting a candidate for further analysis does not authorize implementation; it marks a handoff.
Morphological Analysis generates and structures alternatives but does not rank them. Send a manageable, structurally diverse candidate set to a method suited to the decision: a weighted matrix for transparent criteria, cost-benefit analysis for monetizable impacts, quantitative risk analysis for uncertainty, or another governed review process. Keep the stable alternative reference so downstream models can retain lineage.
