Data Profiling Workbench Guidance
The Workbench is organized around four modules and the model-level actions above them.
Overview Module
Use Overview to choose the source, preview URL downloads, add metadata, run the profile, and review top-level metrics. If URL mode is used, preview and confirm the target before running.
Use Data Inputs And Source Review when source selection is unclear.
Columns Module
Use Columns to inspect every profiled field. Search by name and filter by type. Pay special attention to missing percentages, unique counts, quality flags, stats, and top values.
Use Columns And Quality Review when interpreting column rows.
Charts Module
Use Charts to inspect suggested visualizations and adjust chart type, fields, palette, labels, and legend. Chart edits support communication; they do not change the source profile.
Use Charts And Data Story when choosing visual evidence.
Report Module
Use Report to curate the executive summary, findings, recommendations, signals, next analyses, and data story. Treat generated text as a draft that needs business review.
Use Report, Findings, And Export when preparing stakeholder output.

- Review high-risk columns.
- Inspect suggested charts.
- Edit report findings and recommendations.
- Save a draft or create a version.
