Report and export
The report is a decision artifact generated from a specific saved model version. It should be readable by a board member who did not build the worksheet and detailed enough for a reviewer to trace the recommendation.
Recommended report structure
- Title, organization, version, generation time, horizon, currency, and model completion.
- Decision question, objective, executive recommendation, calculated signal, rationale, and approval conditions.
- Dashboard showing funding gap, minimum and ending cash, reserve exposure, break-even, payback, NPV, ROI, IRR availability, and operating margin.
- Monthly cash profile and scenario comparison.
- Critical assumptions with confidence, impact, validation status, evidence, and owner.
- Income and cost structure with projected totals and source types.
- Risks, readiness warnings, AI disclosure, missing information, and next actions.
- Method notes, references, metadata, and detailed cash-flow appendix.
Before export, save the model, resolve material data-quality issues, verify the selected scenario, and compare the preview against the worksheet. The PDF must enforce the same read access as the model, bind the requested version to that model, use workspace language and regional formatting, include organization branding when available, and record the export event. Do not circulate an obsolete PDF after the model changes; generate a new version-bound report.
